IMHO the only way to experience a sport is to take part in it yourself. I thought my head would pop off with boredom having to watch my own kids participate. Why would i want to watch strangers compete? I was on swim team, no one ever came to watch my meets. It's a fucking bore and the chlorine stinks and the humidity is just gross unless you are in swim clothes yourself.
