I am gun owner and owner of many weapons I think it is smart that all people learn the safety of guns and other weapons especially woman since we are targets in most killings and violent acts.

Both my daughters have their own guns and know how to use them. We are a responsible weapon owners.

People think since I go target shooting. I could protect myself with a gun.In reality it takes hours and hours,years and years of training in everything from movement during unholstering,all the way to understanding why actually hitting somebody in a close range gunfight is near impossible.Learning to be familiar with a weapon is more about the "not being a victim" mind frame it teaches.
