Remember the days when classrooms were quiet - desks all neat in a row, and if you DARED to be disrespectful to the teacher - or anyone else for that matter - you feared what the principal and your parent(s) would do WHEN they found out?

Nowadays, parents side with their asshat kids and teachers have ZERO authority.

When one of my sons graduated, one of the assistants told me they always loathed calling parents bc they’d always give them the hard time and stick up for their kids. But they enjoyed calling me bc everyone knew I’d side with the teachers and principal. My son knew it too. And my discipline was way worse than any detention would bring!
