TERRIBLE AIR CRASHES

I used to like Air Crash Investigation on cable.

I have watched most of them. The Re-enactments are terrible but I like their analysis and interviews with actual NTSB people instead of amateur enthusiasts.

The co-pilot of Colgan Air Flight 3407 that went down in New York was a close friend of my family (featured in one of their series) and was rather distasteful and badly done, in my opinion.

That's the thing in the media isn't it? The airline companies want to write it down to pilot error rather than admit shoddy maintenance procedures with the aim of cutting costs.
It's down right wrong.
The one in Japan that killed over 500 people witnesses say they could hear lots of screaming to start with and as nothing was done till the next day lots more died than needed to.
