Great track Oz but tbh I can't help but cringe when I hear the lyrics "won't you ride my white horse - it's symbolic of course"..... extra heavy day on the weed for Ozzy that day I reckon
Right👍 it is cringe worthy😂 and Crowley had multiple homosexual encounters he wrote about in is book 🤔 double cringe😂😂👍

Did d Ozzy write that? Or drummer and bassist? Very few songs Ozzy wrote himself

I believe he’s talking about heroin use there as Crowley got addicted to heroin and cocaine and quit them both in his book Moonchild. Excellent book

Yeah you're probably right, love Ozz but don't think he did that much writing. I remember he used to show up on late-night chat shows in the '90s here in the UK like the Frank Skinner show, he came across as the complete maniac we knew him to be but also genuinely hilarious and great with anecdotes, you could get away with pretty much anything on UK tv then. I'm not sure how I feel about the over-the-top coverage his death has had here in the UK - seems to me there are suddenly millions of plastic fans wearing Black Sabbath shirts and blubbering on Tik Tok who wouldn't have shit on metal a year ago

What does Mr. Crowley "won't you ride my white horse" mean?

The white horse is a drug reference. Apparently, Crowley's afterbirth had been scattered and he tended to close letters with “Polemically yours.” Ozzy wasn't the only singer who was influenced by Crowley. A young David Bowie was an acolyte, as was Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin.

Just ran across this👍😉

Mr. Crowley" is a song by English heavy metal singer Ozzy Osbourne, about English occultist Aleister Crowley. Written by Osbourne, guitarist Randy Rhoads and bass guitarist/lyricist Bob Daisley, it was released on Osbourne's debut solo album Blizzard of Ozz in September 1980 in the United Kingdom.[1] A live version was released as a UK single in November 1980. In North America, the studio version was released as a single in 1981.

Also had to look this up 👍😉

man they included him as a songwriter in every track. Most of the time it was drummer and bassist’s who wrote the lyrics. Ozzy came up with the melody. Zakk and John Holmes helped write as well.

:fuckyeah:

The white horse in Revelation is Death, killing 1/4 of the world.
Obviously, as a Luciferian - Crowley would be trying to bring on the Apocalypse.
I doubt it's a sexual reference, OZZY was very-into Women.

Alternates:
(all white Drugs, once refined, popular at the time)
Cocaine
Heroin
Angel Dust
METH

OZZY didn't write any of the Songs on this album.
OZZY was kicked out of Black Sabbath for constantly being Higher than Space Lab.

- Ride the Lightning -
- Ride the Serpent -
- Ride the White Horse -
... all mean = Tore up from the Floor up! (High)
