Serious The in your 20's generation

I need to have a moan about people in their 20's. I'm in my 50's and I know I was bought up in a different generation but jesus what a pathetic age group this is right now.

A. They call in sick for the most ridiculous reasons
B. They want top wages ileven at that young age
C. They have to have a day off every week
D. Want lots of time off to do nice things
E. Want everything paid for with regular fun times

Or they throw a fit and leave, I'm sorry if you're reading this and you're in your 20s but you're pathetic

I think you meant to type that as 20's, not 50's.

I agree wholeheartedly. I'm 48, and when I look at the younger generations, I am disgusted with their innate shallowness, and their assumed entitlement. Plus, many of them have no concept of respect, or that the older generations have earned wisdom - because we've already done more dumb shit than they have - but they still think they know best. Bunch of talentless, feckless, fannies - all of them.

You forgot the part when they used all these fake made up mental illnesses as excuses for their shitty behavior
This as well

This happens basically every generation but I am in my mid 30s and can associate with a couple of those behaviors. I certainly want lots of time off to do nice things and probably call off more than I should.

But the future doesn't look very rosy. As the saying goes, "weak men create hard times", and here we are. I'm all but guaranteed to live a lower quality of life than my parents' generation (and likely yours). Meanwhile the doomsday clock has never been this close to midnight, wars seem to just keep popping up and our government has been steering the country into the ditch for 16 years.

My boss is a 67 year old, morbidly obese, old-school-Polish douche bag. If he has a problem with my work ethic he will most certainly let me know.

Sorry if you had a nasty interaction with someone though.

In my teens, there'd be groups of punks and skinheads sitting around the town centre drinking, as I still go to gigs in my 50s I notice the younger generations are very namby pamby.. they barely drink, you'll almost never see 18 year olds in a pub. Computer games keep them locked in their rooms night and day, they make friends online, a moped rider delivers their McDonald's..

I was a skin, I sat around town on Saturdays getting drunk, oh the memories

I'm 25 and I provide for the family, I think living in a tough situation will teach you to count on your own and work even in minimum wage to cover basic stuff, and especially if someone of the family is sick and you have no income.
They are just spoiled and lack of determination, just cut the Wifi and they will get their asses up today or tomorrow.

I’m 23 and agree with you. I’m not like this because I was raised by a boomer. It’s really easy to get promoted and make those higher wages because the rest of us young people are lazy and entitled. I show up to work everyday, work a little harder than the rest and boom promotion. I’ve had 4 jobs and 3 promoted me. I was only packing a line at the factory I work at for a few months before getting promoted to machine operator.
