A piece of art

I was watching a video on the the guidance system of the V2 rocket. It was a small analogue computer which could guide the rocket from anywhere in Western Europe to the edge of space and then hit London. This was space age technology at a time when most millitary logistics was still carried out with horse-drawn carriages. It's no wonder the subsequent Cold War was built on this technology, it was so futuristic and so lethal, and yet ironically it would end up becoming the technology we rely on for typical everyday things now. Satellites, GPS, microwaves, modern computers and cell phones, etc. All of the foundational principles came from this cutting edge military technology.
