This is not rape, this is a drunk slag

I just read this post on one of the most attention seeking tragic female subreddits

read it here and the tragic 'this is rape' replies

It's fucking hilarious how millennials refuse to take responsibility for their actions. If you can't handle your alcohol and end up in a one-night stand with a stranger you know sweet fuck all about, it's on you. But blaming someone else for your reckless behavior? That's just absurd. If you willingly put yourself in a vulnerable situation, don't be surprised if things go tits-up. And no, being drunk doesn't excuse anything. Own your own fucking stupidity.

If he asks and then does whatever he wants anyway, that's definitely not cool, but I don't think violating "hard limits" counts as rape. It's more like a girl sticking a finger into guy's butt during sex even though he said he hates it.

And if she's worried about getting kids, well, end of sex isn't the moment you should be taking precautions. And that's for both of them, because I doubt the guy wanted a brand new shitling. The STD part isn't even worth commenting.

Asking about consent the entire time? Dating got weird.
Exactly, 10 years ago, it was never rape, it was actually something funny to tell your friends, ie, how you got so drunk you woke up the next morning in bed with fat ginger Dave, so you chew your arm off to get free, because its under him, then walk home at 4 am in your party dress thats covered in spunk and your own (probably) vomit and then tell your besties all about it laughing hysterically and it was fat ginger Dave that got hurt, because he thought it meant something and he'd been crushing on you for a decade. Consent and protection were solely the responsibility of the individual, regardless of their level of intoxication. Today, in the UK, engaging in sexual activity with someone who is pissed up and unable to provide consent is illegal, highlighting a significant scary shift in societal attitudes towards consent and accountability. Its your junk, look after it yourself.
