The Taliban’s “dystopian” new laws that forbid women from speaking or showing any part of their bodies in public have sparked anger among human rights activists, who say they will worsen the gender apartheid enforced by the country’s hardline Islamist rulers.

Last week the Taliban introduced the country’s first set of official rules aimed at “preventing vice and promoting virtue” since their takeover of the country in 2021. The rules are presented in a 114-

This is just the Taliban going back to 'how it was' pre-America's 'let's get Bin Ladin'. After the Taliban took over a lot of countries were grumbling about how they were treating the Afghans, especially the women, so it's now 'Business as usual' for the Taliban. Also, the Taliban are now destroying the opium crops instead of selling it to fund the war (they were destroying it before the war as well), Afghan heroin was flooding Western markets, now, proper heroin is hard to get, junkies relying on chemical shit instead, chemicals being easier to regulate & ban, all in the game of stopping the drug market, the Taliban are going back on most of their promises, but the US knew they would---except the destroying of heroin & stopping that closes down one major supplier.
