Three planets and the moon in the evening sky

If you're on the east coast of North or South america right now (6 PM) look outside to the south. You'll see Jupiter, Saturn, the Moon and Venus setting into the twilight. Everyone else can see it for the next few days by looking south just after sunset. Pretty cool, you don't see them line up like that every day.

Looks like a Dobsonian. They're so huge they are called light buckets. Big bang for your buck but their application is limited as they can't be used with a tracking motor so what ever you're looking at slowly drifts out of frame. Might give you $500 Canadian.

I watched the mercury - Saturn alignment.
First time I ever could see the red of mars. Guess it was the other planets let me see the difference in color. Earth was a little dark with all the others shining though.
As for the dobsonian, I have the colage womens dorm a mile away, should be perfect for viewing those heavenly bodies.......
