On the eve of what will be my first roll out on the
Ducati
machine to say I’m excited is a complete understatement. Thought I would take a moment to reflect back on how things have changed over the past years. Taking the jump from moto3 to MotoGP definitely caused a stir and I can not even start to explain the messages reading comments on social media a whole heap of people telling me even to my face that I was going to fail the jump was to big. To those people all I can do is thank you for putting this extra fire in me to make my self succeed. In order to do so I had to take a long look at my self and my life change pretty much everything. My lifestyle my training my mental approach my diet and on and on! My parents. My manager Aki Ajo. Thomas Foncea and Tommy thank you guys from the bottom of my heart for all your support guidance and for putting up with my shit for all these years there is no way I could be here with out you. This is a massive milestone for us and what is hopefully only the beginning of things to come bring on 2021. Sorry for the rubbish post not to flash at these things

MotoGP Qatar Test Day 3 Results: Jack Miller destroys lap record

Jack Miller has decided to show the critics of his stoppies what he really can do on track.

Day 3 of MotoGP testing at Qatar was concluded with not one but two riders finishing the test under the lap record, these riders were Jack Miller and Fabio Quartararo, the lap record around the Losail International is 1:53.380 set by Marc Marquez in 2019, Miller and Quartararo set times of 1:53.183 and 1:53.263 respectively, unfortunately, these times will not go on official records as lap record times must be set during a race weekend, however, Yamaha and Ducati are showing some serious speed even without engine upgrades.

'The speed is there' declares Marc Marquez as he finishes sixth and top Honda on his MotoGP return in Portimao, 'we are in a much better situation than we expected' but knows his arm will struggle more as the weekend goes on.
Marc Marquez, MotoGP, Portuguese MotoGP 16 April 2021

Marc Marquez admitted he was full of nerves as he headed out for his first MotoGP laps in nine months, on a track surface littered with damp patches, during opening Friday practice in Portimao.
But the eight-time world champion need not have worried.
Despite running wide a few times at Turn 1, the Repsol Honda star was soon setting a competitive pace, even leading the timesheets on his way to third position.

The 28-year-old was all smiles as he removed his helmet at the end of the morning session.
That scene was repeated at the conclusion of the faster FP2 session, held on a fully dry track, which saw Marquez sliding his way to sixth, as the top Honda and just 0.473s from Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati).
