Seems to me that there are 2 wars going on, Bibi got Trump involved to bomb Iran, Israel helped a bit, then Trump stopped bombing, ceasefire and all that, and Israel went onto the second war - Lebanon. I think Bibi's plan worked perfectly.

i dont hear anything about trump spanking bibi's pee pee for him doing what hes doing to lebanon. because like i said,if bibis beef is with hezbula,then why not join up with the lebaneeze govt and military and work together on combating them. why go in and destroy the place? and do what theyre doing to the innocent civilians. especially the children.

Seems that Bibi's plan was just to use the US as a front to cover what he actually had planned - strike Lebanon (the other operation: Lions Roar) while everyone was focused on the States in Iran with Trump's Epic Fuckup.

As most have been able to see, or not see, there has not been much going on with this whole Epic Whatever business - except perhaps some people making a shitload of money on it depending on who announces that the Straight is open or closed.

As I mentioned several posts back, the only real kinetic kind of relationship has been between Israel and Lebanon/Hezbollah - which is probably what the US getting involved was all about in the first place: distraction so Bibi could pursue his thing. But Iran wants the bombing in Lebanon to stop as part of any agreement and Bibi will have nothing to do with it. Trump is pissed. Too late.

So a bit of action tonight, nothing major, just Iran sending some ballistics into northern Israel where most were intercepted. And there's mostly just been the Israel/Lebanon love making.

I'd read somewhere a moth or so back that just prior to some US announcement about Iran that Sir Hegseth wanted to put a million bucks into something like a stock (can't remember what it was) but that the Stock Exchange stopped him because White House officials are barred from betting on insider trading. Where did Sir Hegseth even get a million dollars from? Anyways, Trump went and did the only reasonable thing, I think, and changed legislation about staff and insider trading to allow it. Totally fucked up and a good way to fuck up a war more than it's already fucked up.

US Army Apache helicopter goes down near Strait of Hormuz

"A US Army Apache helicopter gunship went down near the Strait of Hormuz on Monday, with both crew members safely rescued, the New York Times reported, citing two people briefed on the incident.

The cause of the crash has not been determined. Investigators are examining whether the Apache was shot down by Iranian fire, suffered mechanical failure, or encountered another problem, according to one of the people, who spoke on condition of anonymity. The Trump administration had not disclosed the incident by the time the Times sought comment from the White House, and CENTCOM did not respond to a request for comment.

If confirmed as hostile fire, it would mark a significant escalation. The Apache would be the first of its kind lost in the conflict. Iran has previously shot down around 30 US unmanned Reaper drones, and a handful of American fighter jets have been lost to hostile and friendly fire since hostilities began on February 28. In April, two crew members of an F-15E Strike Eagle shot down by Iran were rescued after ejecting deep in hostile territory.

The Apache is among the most capable aircraft operating in the region, armed with Hellfire missiles and used to patrol the Strait of Hormuz to deter small-boat attacks and intercept drones. US forces have been pushing the helicopters increasingly close to Iranian-controlled islands in the strait and Persian Gulf as part of an aggressive posture CENTCOM has maintained throughout the conflict.

The incident comes amid a broader US naval enforcement campaign in the region. Since imposing its own blockade on Iranian ports on April 13, in response to Iran's effective closure of the Strait of Hormuz, the US military has turned away 134 vessels and disabled eight, including a Palau-flagged oil tanker in the Gulf of Oman on Monday that ignored repeated warnings to turn back." As long as Trump kisses Bib's ass, it might be more than 2.5 yrs before the US gets out of there. It's like the winningest war that was won several times a few months ago, but is now in the slow motion as falls asleep and his team can't figure out a way out of it without admitting that maybe they lost.

Anyways, it seems that the US Apache was hit by an Iranian Shahed drone. The nuance is that it's probably almost impossible for an operator to steer one of these flying tubs into a helicopter. Seems more likely that there was probably a mid-air collision as a few Apaches were in the air to shoot the things down; except one of them got too close to one and boom. But it won't be framed that way - it's being framed that Iran intentionally struck the chopper. Sounds like a Russian lie.
