Very large wolf in TN

I was out 15 so miles from south of Newport TN camping. I was out on a clearing and saw something I can’t put my head around. It was the largest wolf I’ve ever seen. It was 5 foot or more sitting. It had very tall pointing ears that really didn’t look wolf. At first I thought someone was playing a prank but there’s no way someone would have been that far from a city and dressed up like this. It had very light yellowish eyes. When I say black, it was hella black. I backed away and took off because if that thing was hungry I’d be dead very fast. Has anyone ever seen a crazy large unnatural looking wolf in TN?

I stayed in Newport and went south exploring. I was looking at an old house that was for sale for the company I worked for. I got 3 days off and went for it. I had a GPS so I was confident at first. Man I can’t believe how many bugs are in TN. Spiders up the ass.

As a person who is the bush a lot. Maybe save that for the birds or with one of those cameras lenses that are a foot long for super zooming. 0.1 second and it could be eating you

It was that primal fear I guess, I turned and got the hell out of there as quickly also quietly. I left my gun at the hotel because I didn’t know the land laws.

It was wider and the ears were crazy tall. I’ve hunted coyotes and wolves, never seen anything like this. I think is was a freak of nature
