The cat is literally doing the job it was domesticated to do, not sure why people are getting upset about it.
That mouse is not a pet, considering you hear birds in the background and the cat is ripping it through a birdcage id say that it was a wild mouse that thought it could score an easy meal with the birdseed. Besides, mice are nasty fuckers to have around, during my childhood we had a bunch that infested our aviary and they spread to our rabbit pen. The things chewed off our baby rabbits ears to the bone and also destroyed our birds eggs. Only good mouse is a dead one.
