I collect all kinds of shit. Medical stuff is my favorite though.
What do you all collect??
I collect just about everything from in flight magazines, cook books but most treasured of all is what my father left me from his days in the Air Force. Most all of it remains sealed and packed away for now.
His flight helmet (below) Aeronautical charts, various technical manuals and other uniform items

These are just some the patches of the units he belonged to. The two at the top of the photo are from his former B-1B bomber unit out of Dyess AFB, Texas.
The second are 2 unit patches from F-15E squadrons (RAF Lakenheath, England) during the Persian Gulf War.

Eat your heart out. All original. Bottom left is Blind Faith, European release cover. Actually they are the last of my wife's albums, just found them last week.

I don't really know...it's fascinating how all of these things work together to make us live... We're all just a bunch of blood and guts and organs. I realize it's like 'well duh' but when you really think about it...pretty amazing. And weird. Why medical stuff DD?
I had a ton of those growing up. Excellent bathroom companions.![]()

Fine stuff!
What's the price of such a helmet? A buddy wears a similar helmet (German airforce ~1970) for riding motorcycle. He had to pay 400$ in the 80's.
I know how you feel, some guy bought almost all my records and he was significantly lighter after the fact

I'm just searching thrift stores and yard sales now. Gotta draw a line between collecting and hoardingI know how you feel, some guy bought almost all my records and he was significantly lighter after the fact![]()
