games What Game Are You Currently Playing?

Sky It is for PC. I don't know if the choices you make playing would change the game play a second time through, it's pretty linear. I think it's probably a one and done unless you just want to experience the scary parts again.

Maybe an hour and a half, but you can certainly explore and make it last longer. I went the linear route and plowed through it.

I like the fishing though, expanded mini game and surprisingly good loot but 10 years work on this, really, lol?
I couldn't get into the fishing. Never found a reason to, and I haven't looked to see if there's a loot table somewhere but more often than not I just end up getting meat. And that leads to the fact that cooking is pointless, IMO.

Overall the first few chapters are alright, but it turns into a train wreck before the end.

Playing banished when I have time it's a cool throwback to simcity days. Dunno if it's still being worked on but it's pretty good for a game by made by just one person. It shits all over simcity games actually.
Shining Rock Software

Hey, looks nice the game. I liked the old Simcities until v.4, but went always bankrupt after some hours/days.
I'll have a look!

Wondering if others that have an X-Box One (S) were a bit pissed/frustrated about the whole setup shit and having to have the console connected to the Internet to do anything.

Maybe I'm old school: I want a console, pop in a game disc and play it. If I want to hook up to an online gaming server then I do that.

After playing most of the various gaming consoles over the years and just coming off of X-Box 360 and PS3 I now see that the two main players (Microsoft and Sony) see a huge potential in forcing gamers to go online to play. When registering they want all of our personal info (except our address) and then can track anyone and perhaps 'spy' on them when folks are using their cams, microphones, etc. And ya, they can do it.

It took me a few hours to register the damned thing, then download the updates for both the console and the controller, then buy a $60 X-Box Live card, download some updates for the game I have, before I was able to play the one game that I have without having to be connected to the Internet.

Another thing that pisses me off is that my Internet connection goes to my laptop. So, if I have to be online for the X-Box One I have to unplug the LAN cable from the laptop and plug it into the X-Box console (I don't have wi-fi). I don't have 2 LAN cables for Internet...

I want my PS2 back.

I moved away from x box and went the ps3 route, my console is over 10yrs old and going strong, about 4yrs back I purchased a ps4 and also going strong, reason I moved away from x box is the restrictions when you don't have Internet. Where Sony on the other hand you can play and use it completely unplugged from the net. For the last few months I am subscribed to ps+ but only because it's cheap and I get a few games for free every month, also I can then backup my game saves on the cloud.

I'm not a huge fan of Microsoft's consoles. The X-Box 360 was okay but my last one burned out. My old PS2 is also burned out so I was stuck for a while before my son-in-law gave me his barely used PS3 with games a few weeks ago. Then on Christmas I got this X-Box One S from my parents. I finding that some games don't require internet (mostly X-Box 360 games) but they do need it at first so that the game can be updated to play on the One before can play. Now I play both (PS3 - XBox One), depending on what game I want to play.

One thing that I do like about the X-Box One S is that the controller is equipped with a 1/8" headphone jack. Other than that, the console is a pain in the ass.
