'Mius Front' by Graviteam Tactics. Round- and real-time strategy combined game on some places at the Ostfront in '42/43. VERY clumsy, very Russian, almost no chance to survive as German forces. Like in reality. But one of the best simulators of this genre, I had their first unfinished try years ago (Achtung Panzer) was good as well. As a niché game, it's quite expensive if not on sale, up to 100 € for all parts they have on steam.

I have/had played more or less all flight sims over the years. Most advanced is DSC World, it's 'free' as well. Important for me is they have a good AI for singleplayer, damage- and flight model and WW2 aircrafts. I'm playing mostly a Bf-109 E until G pilot in the IL-2 series.
But I still didn't build me a cockpit with 3 monitors and an old car seat with a rumble-pad under my arse at home. Just some good joysticks.
