games What Game Are You Currently Playing?

Tested a real-time-tactics game today, 'Call to Arms'.
Very recommendable if you like the 'Men of War/Assault Squad' series, it's from the same developers.
(Edit: wrong, it's the same game engine)
But this time in a modern scenario, not WW2. And much better than this silly 'Cold War' part they released some time ago.
It's not new but I did discover it on Steam today first. Has an MP part too, with 1300 players active this afternoon.
But new is you can play units in 1st person view in the 'direct control' mode now and the graphics/mechanics were quite ok. Good for getting things done the AI isn't capable of. Or as a gimmick for fun.
And there's even a German Bundeswehr campaign, besides the USA, rebels and Russians.
The studio is about to release a WW2 part though soon, called 'Gates of Hell' and plays at the Ostfront.

Tanzer (new indie sega genesis game)
Ordered it this week, shipped really fast.

BRUTAL difficulty. Like ninja gaiden level hard. Only one life for the whole game, no password save or continues, 3 hits and it's game over, and you have to buy health. Has a few issues but controls really well. Interesting art style. Wish it was a tad more forgiving but it's worth the money for a physical cartridge release.

Battlefield 1
It's a old stuff but it illustrates well the wide range of the first modern weapons with which man began modern killing in the very cruel First World War
