I might reinstall it then, I bought it when it first came out and hated it. Uninstalled it and haven't touched it sense.

Currently playing Total War: Shogun 2

Gear drops are a lot better. My monk has much better survivability since then. Most elite packs are easier to survive through. The bosses in act 5 are pretty killer. There are events in story mode as well. I think they are trying to go diablo 2 in a way. PVP i havent bothered with yet.

Just got back in to Diablo 3. At vanilla it sucked, but after much Q_Q from the community, the game got a huge revamp. With the expansion being released yesterday. 8/10 so far.

Got it for free for signing a one year subscription contract on WoW, played the first 3 weeks with a few friends, got to max level, got to the beginning of the Act 3 in Inferno mode and we all stopped playing. Might start playing again if you tell me It's better, It wasn't that great when It came out.

Download the client and give it a shot. There was a community buff this weekend with 50% experience boost, so i went 57 to 60 in 1 hour. Expansion was worth it for me.I will be rolling a DH once i get my monk to 70.

The reason why I stopped playing was because of the gear drops, Inferno was extremely hard at the time and the auction house was overpriced/empty, I remember pulling very little groups of mobs, run around with my WD and use that charging bears attack (whatever It is called), It took minutes just to kill small groups of mobs, It didn't feel rewarding at all and there was no challenge, if you were hit you were almost dead so the only thing to do was to run, throw bears, run, throw bears, etc.
Got boring very fast. I might get the expansion pack this week and give it a try but if I see It's the same bullshit of running for 5 minutes to kill a small group of mobs that never drops anything, then I might not.

I had the same problem. As melee. When i played in hell, was pulling some elite packs with thunder waller and freeze and suprised at my survivability. I havent tried any other class as i really like the monk idea. Beats what they did with WoW. So, i'm trying to take my time, but quest give really good XP. Also, check the diablo 3 forum to see if people have different views on certain classes. The gear is a whole lot better. Since Saturday, i have found about 8 legendaries. The rare drops are more frequent. Some stats benefit the class you are currently playing.

Same issue here, gear drops always sucked and I'd have to use the marketplace to get anything decent. Sounds like I should give it a second chance though.

That AH got canned this month. The game is awesome. I would give it a ten, but that server lag though.

Got over 740 hours into the game, just installed it back on my laptop yesterday and I've been playing for over 10 hours already. Such a brilliant & addictive game, extremely hard to learn but once you know how to play you will find yourself completely unable to stop playing. (assuming you like the genre of course, this game is very slow paced and requires you to use your brain)
I recommend checking it out and adding it to your wishlist on Steam, it gets very cheap during sales along with its DLCs, you might find yourself playing for hundreds of hours like me, totally worth the money.
