Yeah, I'd like to be an extremist too.
I just don't understand why there's not an option to be self sufficient. Every mission I go on, I've already cleared the area before So-and-so needs it done. Every settlement, I've built and manned before someone wants to save it, or take it over for its resources. Why have the ability to be the savior if someone else is going to take credit?

The people of Shady Sands are getting really annoyed with the rad scorpions so they sent the one and only Vault Dweller to clean up the mess, not a single one of them survived.
The gang is all here. We have Tycho, the world's first desert ranger. Ian, Shady Sand's best gunslinger, and Katja, Follower's of the Apocalypse best knife expert.
The Khan's have kidnapped Shady Sand's leader's daughter, Tandi. We did an all out assault but we lost Ian during the fight. RIP Ian.

I redid the Khan raid. After that, the gang and I went back to the Hub to sell all our shit we got from the dead raiders, afterwords we made our dangerous trek to Necropolis, home of the ghouls and currently the recruiting center for the Super Mutant Army. Time teach these assholes a lesson.
Is it Fallout 2 or something similar? I didn't have played the early versions.
From the isometric look, it reminds me at Blitzkrieg. I played all parts plus most spin-offs.
Fallout 1 and 2 are a lot like Blitzkrieg in terms of isometric and 2D graphics but the first two Fallout games are turned based rather than real time gameplay.
Found 'The Fall-Last Days of Gaya-Reloaded (2004/06) in my heap of games. Was quiet demanding for me back then, you had to keep every aspect of surviving in mind.

Ohhh, that looks like a very interesting game.
Yes, it is. They messed up the graphics a bit, the background and some surroundings are at times unsharp/blurry. But no problem.
It's realtime, but you can stop it and make your moves, orders and timings.

I'm not sure if you've noticed but the engine that the game is using was originally meant to be for Fallout 3(Interplay). I'm glad Bethesda acquired the rights to the franchise because it gave Fallout a future and a huge resurgence of new fans but another part of me wishes that Black Isles Studio lived on to create Fallout 3. I wish STALKER has a future like Fallout.
Let me rephrase that, I have feeling we won't be seeing a STALKER sequel anytime soon. The company that made STALKER are still around
