games What Game Are You Currently Playing?

Multiplayer doesn't interest me at all unless it's co-op. I haven't really played a MGS game since 2 on the PS2. Had a lot of fun with that. I played a bit of 4, but that was just a movie, not a fucking game.
Yeah, MGS3 was basically the pinnacle of the series franchise - MGS4 was a movie (a shitty movie at that) and the other 2 games(Portable Ops and Peace Walker) aren't even worth a mention. The ironic thing about people praising MGS5's gameplay is that the series was never an open world game from the start. Before MGS5 and it's cash grab brother Ground Zeroes came out, there was more gameplay and a coherent story from Revengence of all titles.

Destiny's "updates" killed the game for me. Haven't played since TTk. And endgame in Division is pretty pointless. Enjoyable games once upon a time though.

If there's ever a great sale on MGSV I'll probably pick it up.

Games getting boring and uninteresting is actually a blessing in disguise for me. It gives me chance to play something else instead of being trapped in one like I was with Destiny year one! TTK changed far too much. It was brilliant to begin with until the realisation of just how much they'd changed sank in. I still enjoy it with friends, though.

The best thing about The Division is grouping up with the lads and doing Dark Zone. Brilliant fun in my opinion. The frustrating thing was how easy the Platinum trophy is. It popped without me even looking at what trophies needed to be done.

I got MGS V in the "Twelve Deals of Christmas" in December for £30 which was actually cheaper than a pre-owned physical copy at the time. It's a brilliant game and takes genuine effort and determination to get 100% complete.

True, boredom forces change.

I have no interest in playing in a group of more than two, and dark zone is really just a grind for better equipment. But for what? I know I spent an ungodly amount of time in Destiny doing that, but there was endgame to focus on. In Division there really is no endgame. No raids or similar rewarding missions. Just... the dark zone and replaying old missions on harder difficulties. I don't know... I feel as though I can't complain too much having been a Destiny player but Division is so similar yet lacking, I just have no interest in it now that it's over.

I had more fun playing that free Shutsimi game this month than playing whatever the end of the Division offered.

Playin some E.Y.E., waiting for the newer deus ex, won't fucking preorder it though. In its first weeks of release it'll probably be a buggy mess like most current gen aaa titles, and just like its predecessor. I'm not even sure if Ill buy it at all even after a year, since they'll probably do the same jew game they did with DXHR by releasing the 'enhanced remake' 2 years later, making everyone who bought the original buy the same shit again to get the bug-clean version.

Just a repost from the "Your favorite fps game" thread, I didn't notice I was posting my game updates in that thread instead of here.

Anyways, Origin is having a sale for Star Wars and the Battlefield series and 4 and all it's DLC is on discount. I got BF4 Premium for 15 dollars which includes all the DLC as of the fifth of May, 2016. I also decided to play Star Wars Battlefront which the gameplay is shallow at best, but the sound design is absolutely epic.
