Lol! that was just the small bedroom! It would have been easier to skim the walls with plaster but that only hides the bastards, gotta root them out and fill them proper!More cracks than an OAP's bum!!

I thought of that but a lot of the cracks were in places where it already had been over skimmed, the old lath and lime plaster underneath was the problem.Why dont you skim it instead of filling?...

Where the old render had come away from the laths I removed the really loose, put plasterboard screws through the the edges of the loose to pull it back to the laths then filled it with Browning/Bonding and put Easi Fill over that and sanded it smooth.Aha! them dodgy bastard crack.
