What is the last thing you bought for yourself?

You need help.

Did you get your money refunded for the one that never showed up?

No, it was a private buy try at eBay. The item costs normally 150 - 200 € and the vendor wanted 50 for a new one. So it was risky anyway because too cheap and direct bank payments aren't insured by eBay. He offered payment by credit card/PayPal as well so I thought his business is not a rip-off. Who knows, maybe that was the trick.
Or they fooled the UPS guy at the door to give out the parcel ("I take it for my neighbour") or stole the notification card and I'm not here every day to check the post box, happens here all the time.

Seeing as I'm a hard working industrious type of guy and I was the first customer at the Builders Merchants this morning (Yes, even on a Sunday!) I was offered a bargain by the staff, it was the contents of two buckets of shop soiled stuff from the warehouse, including the buckets for £5. Now that's what I call Bargain Buckets!
