Really? I was a tester for redwing. They would send me 2 pair a year and I would have to keep a weekly journal and send the boots back every 6 months.. long story short, I’ve never had any fall apart or break.. but I wasn’t working in concrete.

lol dude,i was kicking a soccer ball around with my kid when he was like 5 or sumshit. i went to kick the ball. i hit tip first and there it was, the boot mouth.
now think to yourself. im kicking a ball with a 5yr old. how hard did i kick the ground? not hard at all. i wanted to send them back but they wouldnt accept them. they told me to get them repaired and wouldnt even reimburse me.
i wound up buying chippewas in the ean time as back up for the redwings. i never will buy them again. not after that experience. not so much the fact it fell apart,but i felt like they couldnt give a fuck. they got my 250 or whatever it was and said see ya....
I’ve never heard anything like that.. must have been a defective pair./ I’ve also taken a couple pair back to 2 different stores for free repairs.. weird./
defective,yes. free repair,no. redwing would repair it for free,but i had to pay shipping&handling. so whats free about that. the asian guy up the street glued them back together.
