Yeah In my experience here in the states No, It’s all the same company but Black and Decker is more targeted to the Harry Homeowner/Weekend DIY folks. Dewalt is more “heavy duty” designed for 8+ hours of use every day.
Fuck yeah man.. I can’t tell you how many connections I’ve snapped off and broke because I lost patience and just starting prying at it with a screwdriver.. proper fucked and had to use a whole roll of electrical tape to hold it together..
I go down the harbour freight(?) Equivalent here, Bunnings, they have heaps of black and decker shit but I've always thought maybe it's a bit too cheap to be as good as it's big brother....I think those fuckers own Stanley tools as well, they kinda went from "grandad's old indestructible hand tools" to cheap chinese junk
