I was starting to double order some things and also having multiple people kindly deliver the items to me in hospital so the spreadsheet was a good way to stop doubling up on things I forgot I had ordered and to make sure I wasnt overloading one person with having to make deliveries.

I'm sorry to hear you are still in hospital, you must miss home... Things about the covid don't seem to be improving, even became a vaccine. Nice that you can order things to hospital, I'am not sure is such a possibility in Finland.

Appreciate that but this year has been so fucked up for everyone and the reality even if I was out it wasn’t going to be a normal Christmas kind of makes it easier to accept. My GF and our families have decided we’ll have Christmas in March (good timing, nothing going on then anyways) and get together for the feasts, etc then.

As for getting stuff while in hospital it requires a bit of creativity. Having good friends is definitely a bonus but even then some of the unit managers or nurses are very helpful and willing to go outside to meet people and bring things back to the room while others are cunty about it. That I go out of my way to be friendly to them and not ask for much does give me a bit of purchase with them (its all about playing the game). I wouldn’t imagine that things are too different country by country, just need to find helpful staff

Leather journal, water bottle, couple pair of under armour shorts and tees, post-its and an erasable pen.

The pen is very cool and when you write it deposits three different compounds on the paper and it doesn’t really erase the visible ink just hides it. I find it interesting that when i erase something i wrote I automatically go to brush the shavings away but with this ink there are none.
