all my shit is surplus or 5.11 varying shades of brown or green - with purple underwear. I own one pair of jeans I never wear, and I never wear shorts or tracksuit pants, they're for bums. I'm a fashion Nazi, not just a racist asshole.

I'm a bit of a clothes horse but admittedly not very diverse with color. My best friend's wife is a sales person for Henry Singers (nice menswear store) and she's always giving me shit for not having enough diversity in my wardrobe. I do wear cargo shorts a lot and with the hospital stay I kind of got into wearing warm up pants (not shiny track pants like lebs or greasy guinnies wear). Now just wear them around the house or when going to physio. Used to wear jeans a lot but now its usually just during Calgary Stampede, the CFR or Houston Rodeo (I like to wear my shit-kickers dress like a cowboy). Have a bit if 5.11 & Hazard 4, I blend in nicely when I'm out with my cop buddies.

I've got a mate whos always picking up engines (mostly marine.. he has a ridiculous collection of seagull outboards) he goes round picking them up for a pittance..
Then shoves them into his mum's backyard (the jammy shit) and fucks off again aha
Someday somebody will want one of those engines and they'll want it enough to pay silly money for it. I wish I'd still got all of those old 70's bikes that I bought for peanuts, most of them would fetch thousands now.
Definitely, when I was working at a boatyard I made sure to take all the vhf radios, fish trackers, consoles.. all sorts of fairly "vintage" pieces and made a fair amount.
If I didn't move about so much I've always thought it would make quite a nice earner and hobby going round getting these things (boats for me though, I just don't know enough about cars), storing, restoring and selling on. But.. as a non driver with no dry storage place...
