a guy i once worked with, had their saw table. it was (imo) a clunky fuckin thing. didnt care for it too much, wheels and all.
Ya, I've got both a Dewalt 10" table and a Rigid 10" table, both on wheeld stands. I find the Dewalt, even with the proper blade bogs down. Had a rip blade on the Dewalt ripping down 2x10 pressure treated lumber and it really didn't want to. Rigid had no issue. We can get into FESSTOOL, but I don't have the money to even talk about that shit....

i think festool is over rated now. it was just marketed really well. you still have to set up their straight edge, the same way youd have to any other one. and just about everything hass vac attachments now a day anyway. and if you make a mistake with theirs. you wind up gouging it up anyway! then what? a $350 piece of aluminum thats worth only its weight. and its not 350!

We had a Newman come help on some doors and trim work. Took him almost an hour to pull all his festool gear out( and I do mean ALL OF IT), set it up just the way he likes it. Then took the rest of the day to install 2 doors( with jambs and casing). The Mitres were blown out, none of them looked good by most standards. Just because you have the expensive tools, don't mean you can use them. Needless to say, we didn't have him back...
