New year, new watch. First Luminox watch so wanted to go for something modest.

I found my old F70 and I've been wanting to start shooting B&W landscapes & nature again. It needed a home and a friend so bought it a backpack & tripod.

Stumbled across a pre-owned Omega Seamaster at a very good price, only catch is the original bracelet is fucked. I had it checked out at a jewler I trust and it is a legit Omega & its movement is in good condition. Haggled with the seller a bit and am pleased with the purchase price. To fully replace the bracelet with the original (if it can even be found, its from the early 2000's so not exactly vintage but is something of a rare model) would be between $900 - $1400 and not something I'm prepared to spend.

Looked at a few options including a NATO strap (which is something you see with Seamaster watches on occasion) but its too casual IMO, metal which is what it has now but its titanium so difficult to find something that matches the tone of the watch case or leather. I played with a few different colors & styles and have settled on a black rally style. I think it looks pretty good.

This is what it would have looked like new with the original bracelet.

And this is it with the Barton leather strap.

Only thing I didn't like with the leather strap is it came with a polished stainless steel buckle that didn't match with the titanium case so replaced it with a matt black butterfly clasp.
