I was going to the bank when I saw some kids gathered on the sidewalk. Because I am nosy as hell, I went to see what they were looking at. A snapping turtle had crawled out of the creek nearby and was laying eggs in the grass next to the side walk. I sat there and quietly watched with the kids while she laid 8 eggs and then I had to go.
