Lately all the traumas, stresses, inadequacies, financial poverty etc etc etc really has been maddening. Regaining my sanity (or rather being sane for the first time ever) was a good first step but its a slippery slope and the awareness and hindsight is very painful. All that being said after drinking to regulate my mood I sobered then looked in the mirror expecting to feel shame then I smiled because I thought to myself "at least I'm not ugly haha". Being physically "good looking" surprisingly lifts your spirits when you people turn their heads just to have a look at you with good intentions. It's sad but it's what I've got so whatever.
