What made you smile/happy today ?

how many do you expect to have?
you dont get emotionally attached to them do ya,and look at them like pets? then cry if they die or get sacrificed.
I really only felt bad my first time butchering. When I buy a weighted cleaver and do it in a single clean swipe, I'll erase that bad feeling.

The current birds are my very first turkeys, so it's hard to deny they don't mean anything to me.

Backstory:

My son is ‘away’ at college, but it’s only like 2 hrs away so he comes home on the weekends. He came home last night.

During his high school years he worked for a small town famous mechanics shop for several years. Excellent experience both with people and with cars. It shaped his interest in pursuing mechanical engineering.

This weekend we changed the oil in two of our vehicles. Absolutely loved spending that time with him, in his element. Just love seeing how comfortable he is with cars, the stories he tells.

This made me smile, big time.

The engines blew, because he wasn't paying attention to what he was doing, because we were having such a good time catching up and talking.

This made me smile, big time.
did he forget to put the oil plug back in?
you distracted him. its your fault. it always is!

thats cool. my son will be home next weekend. hes coming up from V.A. cant wait to see him and hopefully maybe spend some time with him. hes in the Natl Guard now. so he has drill and when he has it,hes only home fri nite and doesnt come back till sunday night. hardly have time to see him. every time he comes up,i hope theres time. but there never really is. maybe next time hes up there will be time. If you never take time, you’ll never have it.

Took the 'ship' to the other side of the Rhine, to a very nice pub and restaurant.

Reading online that Lizzo succumbed from pressure from being a fucktard, having a whinge and quitting music. 🙂
