wish i could have...you would have died laughing seeing me nearly get scoped by my friends rifle! I have never fired a .30/06 before (mine is a 30/30) and wasn't ready for the kick. Good thing my reflexes were working otherwise I'd have myself a nice ol shiner.

The ones I just bought and the ones I'm getting next are cheap as spiderlings....total the ones I've already bought came to about 30 dollars and that should be about the same for the next batch. These are quite common in the pet trade. It's the shipping that gets you: most charge 40 dollars or more for overnight shipping.

The "holy grail" spiders--Harpactira pulchripes (golden blue legged baboon tarantula) and Pamphobeteus ultramarinus (Ecuadorian Birdeater Tarantula) will together set me back 500 dollars or more. So it's going to be quite a while before I own them. I bought my common spiders from http://petcenterusa.net/aboutus.html.
