One of my BFs moms went home today after a double mastectomy and reconstruction surgery on Thursday. Dr took extra nobes to run tests on but thinks she's all in the clear.

The weather finally hit below 100 degrees and it was time to use my convertible cars. I drove one to starbucks and sat as everyone took photos of my car and asked a million questions than I took the other one out to tear up some back roads.

It happened to me when I was very young, around 6 or so my shoe laces became untied the escalator grabbed me. Fortunately she moved fast enough and pulled me away, a shop keeper happened to witness it all but it was over by the time he reached us. He was stunned and apologetic about the entire matter and offered mother a new pair of shoes for me.

I remember it vividly to this day
