In Greece, alarm is rising that the twin crises of financial meltdown and soaring illegal immigration are creating the conditions for a rightwing rise – and the July 22 Norway massacre drove authorities to beef up security.


The move comes amid spiraling social unrest that has unleashed waves of rioting and vigilante thuggery on the streets of Athens. The UN’s refugee agency (UNHCR) warns that some Athens neighborhoods have becomezones where “fascist groups have established an odd lawless regime.”

I found an old still in an abandoned house. I'll be making my own booze by the end of next week. :tu:

By the way, if anyone is wondering why I was in an abandoned house, the city is constantly tearing them down, so sometimes I'll go by and check them out first. Just look around. Old photographs, wonder what the people were like, why they left, etc. Sometimes I'll find something cool like the still and take it. Don't really care if its a felony or not to break in, the city is about to knock the place down anyways. Only found one homeless guy though, that was a trip.
 
check this shit out! saved 80 cents a gallon on gas today! no shit. the grocerystore we go to has this program when you spend so much each week,money is accumulated (starting off at 10 cents ). at the end of your 30 days it starts over. well from the gas at the shell station it was 3.91 and wound up at 3.11. so it cost me 60 bux to top off my tank. not bad,eh?

Our local grocery store has 5 cents off a gallon of gas, up to 15 gallons. So the most you could save is like 75 cents off the total price. Not really worth it and it sucks for two reasons: bad price; the gas station that honors the coupon has poor fuel (only available as this gas station).
