What's on the menu tonight?

I've named this recipe, "White Man Raids Asian Supermarket."

It's simply Japanese dashi/bonito stock (5 cups), miso paste (1.5 to 2 tbsp., depending on taste), an entire sheet of nori (dried seaweed) folded and then cut into large flakes with kitchen shears, two "nests" of Chinese shrimp-egg noodles (thin egg noodles that incorporate crustacean powder), and sliced green onion.

Stir in miso and nori while bringing stock to a boil, drop in the noodles, it's finished when the noodle "nests" completely unfurl. Garnish with green onion.
