Out with bestie for her birthday yesterday. drank a fair bit so I can't remember most of it.
Oysters, with curried stuff and herbs and crispy stuff. honestly I think I came in my pants when I ate this. amazing
risotto with local crab risotto wasnt rice it was celeriac and had some brown umami sauce, that I cant describe but it was divine, the popcorn was made from something like fish skin, or maybe mermaids..i forget
Goats cheese , and 5 different beetroot things
Pork various cuts, crackling roasted onion, golden raisin puree stuff
pre pudding.. oh yes that made me smile having a pre pudding was a goats cheese airy mousse with some plum stuff
their version of tiramisu , with aero crisp, and almond snap stuff , cake, mousse wanted to marry the chef, he came over for a chat after we had eaten, was a darling.

There's something about cooking on a barbie that makes the food taste better, I think its got something to do with just sitting there and watching it cook, smelling it and drooling all over your boots!
