What's on the menu tonight?

Not the best photo, was too hungry to take the time to get a really pretty picture. Telera bread, so I guess it's kind of a torta, they were huge.

Made one of these for each of us, two softshells per sandwich, dill tarter sauce, pickled shallots, tomatoes, butter lettuce. Breading on the softshells is corn starch, potato starch, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, msg, and lime zest.

from nice hotels....fairmont, pan pacific, ritz carlton, four seasons, etc

I used to have a bad habit of stealing all sorts of shit from hotels. Now i limit it to washcloths (make great rags) and good bars of soap (the vancouver four seasons was the one of the best, full sized bars l'occitane bath soap).

You eat the crab whole? with a shell on? I know it says soft shell but how soft is a soft shell... intrugued crabs here are all massive hard shelled
