It was just a supermarket steak so not as thick as what I get from the butcher. Its smoky AF around here because of the forest fires so didn't feel like BBQ'ing it so tried something new and used the air fryer. 10 minutes at 400°F

It was quite tasty. Saved half of it for lunch today.
 
Brisket cooked in a crock pot with rootbeer for the liquid. Very simple but tastes really good. Then I put dinosaur barbecue sauce on top with a fresh baked roll. Franzikanner weisbeer ( wheat beer) pairs well Served with coleslaw and cornbread. Homemade cheesecake topped with strawberries for dessert.
