What's your take on consciousness?

True consciousness is becoming aware of the fact you are the listener, not your mind’s voice.

Allowing feeling and emotions, without giving them a name or blaming them on something or someone else.

Being totally aware of the present moment, without projecting into the past or future.

Also, simultaneously being aware of the fact you are a worthy part of the universe like everything else in existence.

Becoming conscious keeps me sober, happy, rarely stressed and able to fit in with all of you nutters 😂.

I don't know what your intent was, but reading that made my three pound clump of meat hurt. :freak:

"without projecting into the past or future" - This remains my greatest illness and character defect despite my sobriety

In spirituality, consciousness is the fundamental awareness that pervades all existence, often viewed as a universal, unifying force. It is seen as a deeper awareness of self, not just the ego, but as a spiritual entity connected to everything else. Spiritual paths aim to cultivate this awareness through practices like meditation, leading to experiences of unity and heightened perception beyond the everyday.
