So what you're saying is with hindsight we didn't really know what we were doing 200 years ago but, 2000 years ago they had it spot on because jesus and that or am I not really following?
Damn that was a good reply. Well basically, without getting into a long story, we had it right the first time, then we second guessed ourselves, then we found out we were right from the start and can't admit that the science doesn't add up. Darwin admitted his lack of knowledge concerning these things. You should check out an autobiography about his life. The dude was a quack.

i've found religious zealots are actually insane
Really? Nooooo who have thought? The shit ppl come up with and try to sell is like insane. And Coca Cola who owns monster make billions has zero fucks given about some nut job trying to kill monster energy using religion.

I’ll tell you how fucked up religion can be: Chick-fil-A. Let’s say the owner was found for having child porn or some shit to that extreme. It wouldn’t stop one of those Catholic Church going fucks from shoving their mouths and kids mouths with that food. You don’t think so? Hmmmmm pedophile spokesperson for Subway in prison for life. Subway lost nothing.

Speaking of Science. How in the hell are these idiots standing along side Science when speaking about all the so-called Genders.
Like most people who don't care about truth, they pick and choose what they will believe based on how well it suits their interests; or on how well it reinforces their pre-established beliefs. Often, I think, this comes down to laziness and pride/ego-salvaging. Dumb proud people don't like being wrong, so they don't update their views of the world, even in the face of incontrovertible evidence. In developmental psychology, the abilities to assimilate information into personal schemas (i.e., understandings of the world and worldly phenomena) and accommodate pre-existing schemas to new information (essentially, updating pre-conceptions based on new information) develop when we are in our single digits. Assimilation of information is constant throughout our lives, but its rates vary depending on intelligence and openness to new information and new experience. Accommodation, on the other hand, appears to wane in some people, who, like I mentioned above, lack the strength of ego to adjust their viewpoints because their pride gets in the way. They see something wrong and weak about yielding to information that conflicts with their pre-established beliefs and viewpoints. This is sad and dumb, but very human. You'll see it on both the left and the right, and in all walks of life.

Alot of people change their beliefs. I was atheist once. I accepted the "main stream" narrative for about half of my life. I've seen peopled humbled and put their egos away. It's amazing what the Lord can do.
