accident Woman crossing & got hit by tanker

What the bloody hell did she walk in front of a truck for, silly bitch!
That's how they cross the street in Vietnam. They expect the driver of the tanker to slow down or driving slow enough to see them Crossing from a distance, to slow down and let them cross. In this case it's the fault of the tanker driver Because he wasn't paying an attention to slow down when she's walking across the street from the other side.

Tanker made no attempt to slow down and she made no attempt to look (zero situational awareness).
So in this case it's the fault of the tanker driver because he didn't make any attempt to slow down. Obviously he wasn't paying attention of the situation on the road when operating heavy machinery

Like I say the law put more responsibility on the driver because he should have seen her coming across from the other side and making some kind of attempts like honking or slowing down to warn her

Legalities aside, it was ultimately her responsibility to perceive the danger and respond accordingly regardless of any wrong doing by the truck driver. If you get hit by a vehicle while crossing the street it's your own fault.
