Stage diving works because there's a crowd that can barely move, asking 5 drunk friends to catch you from a nightclub balcony is not the same.

i remember in grammar school, the teacher had us fall backward into another student's arms, in some sort of retarded trust-building exercise...even then, i stuck out my arms "just in case"
