Aviation fuel can burn at temperatures between 800 to 1,500 degrees Fahrenheit
Steel can melt at temperatures between 1300°F to 1400°F
I'd say that there's a bit of cross-over there, and if the right circumstances occured, aviation fuel would melt steel.
Remember - given the right circumstances, everything can melt.
