Dr Rafael Carrion, a urologist at the University of South Florida, told Mail Online it was a unique case.
“It sounds like a man’s dream — a tremendously inflated phallus — but unfortunately, although it was a generous length, its girth was just massive, especially around the middle,” he said.
Penis reduction surgery has cropped up in popular culture over the years, notably as a plot line in the TV show Nip/Tuck and as a joke in the movie Waiting for Guffman, but it had not previously been attempted.
