I agree. A gravitational anomaly if ever I saw one. He was trying to obey the laws of celestial mechanics by attempting to enter an orbit around the black hole but kept on being messed up by the cars. The passers by were walking with just the right amount of velocity to keep out of trouble. They appeared to me to be slightly blue shifted...
