The brutal murder of Ayazhan Yedilova
Ayazhan Edilova disappeared on March 19, 2021 - the girl left work, but never returned home. The fact that she was brutally murdered became known on March 22. It was reported that the body of the deceased was dismembered and hidden in trash cans, and her nails were torn out. The girl was buried in Taldykorgan.
The murder suspect and Ayazhan met by agreement, but the purpose of this meeting is still unknown. Relatives assumed that this concerned Ayazhan’s business: the girl was engaged in clothing design.

The suspect was charged under two articles of the Criminal Code of Kazakhstan: Article 120 “Rape” and Article 99 “Murder committed to conceal another crime.” The investigation was carried out by the specialized prosecutor's office of Almaty.

The murderer was named Rakhmanberdi Torebekov.
