Wot? so you take all of your suspension and handling and throw it in the bin to be left riding an uncomfortable pile of shit that won't go around a corner? Good fucking choice m8
I just like it's style that's all i have zero experience when it comes to motorcycles that's why i said in my opinion.

A kid on a 50cc scooter will beat someone on a old school hard tail chop through traffic, the only chance a chop would have would be a straight road with fuck all traffic.
I get what you mean about the style thing, ok for the 60/70's but by the 80's they were about finished. I haven't seen a chopper on the road for many years although I've seen a few relics come up for sale on ebay, just looking at the style of them now they seem so fucking ancient and you'd be hard pressed to find a reason why someone would ever want to ride a bike like that now days.

The authenticity itself is the reason why i love the old school bikes such as the chopper, i mean in the end of the day it depends on someone's taste and prefrence. Preformence do also play a major role that's also i should've mention that as well.

Start and driver camp of an oldtimer race.
It's on a mountain pass between Austria and Croatia. I drove some of the passes myself (by car), up to 20% incline up- and downwards.

A buddy had a '40s Harley chopper in the '80s and he had to re-tighten the screws and bolts regularly because of the bad vibrations the bike had.
Loctite thread lock is your friend. I got pissed off with tightening the footrest nuts on my Enfield, I replaced the original nuts with nylock nuts and a good splash of Loctite semi permanent thread lock and they never came loose again.
