From what I've read, most states don't offer last meal requests anymore.

I'd like a ribeye, cooked blue, with a salad of lamb's lettuce with redcurrants and crumbled feta, followed by a Drambuie sorbet and a dark chocolate ganache truffle. And a glass of rose lemonade.

I do a slow roast pork belly. Just season it with salt, pepper and rest it on a head of crushed garlic. Roast covered at 200 for 3 hours and then uncovered at 400 for 30 min.

In the old East Germany, they had a cool way to perform the death sentence. 'Unexpected pot-shot' (in the back of your neck) Very human.
One day they came to you, saying 'the director/doctor/social worker/your mom wants to see you' and they shot you somewhere on the way. Done by a third hidden person. At best done shortly after the verdict before the condemned gets used to the prison life there and smells the rat.
