I once stole $40 from a gas station/convenience store I worked at around 20 years ago. Never got caught.
now you mention it. yea years ago i stole cash and food daily. i wasnt thinking about then,but now. never got caught either. it was a seasonal job. worked at an amusement park. what fun fucking times...
On a big construction/demolition site a load of hazmat suits that arrived at night and no one of the seat-farters of the bureau was present anymore. Not normal, I don't know why. So I scratched something on the drivers paperwork and threw the cartons in a container. Had no 'plan' until then.
But really funny was at the same night an hour later a gypsy sub-contractor asked me if I could help him in some way to get these expensive and mandatory suits (plus the fitting underwear) for his men.

He said while management was often “annoyed” at staff who forgot to ask people buying shop items whether they also had fuel, staff did not have to pay for stolen fuel. However, he said some of his colleagues who had worked at other service stations reported being made to pay for drive-offs.
An Endeavour Hills attendant said petrol drive-offs at his store happened between three and five times a month, but staff were not forced to pay.

upon reflection there have been a few more items
HP came out with one of the first functional handheld computers the 95LX in 1992 or 1993 and then followed by the 100LX which had more memory and a better display. Stole one of each and again was scared shitless I was going to get busted. The store had decent loss prevention and inventory control so i was lucky.
A few PC games but mostly would just open the package, copy the 27 3.5” disks and then reseal the box with window film (I’m still very good at covertly opening and closing retail packaging).
A fair bit of IP theft when leaving one company and going to a competitor. Price books, engineering and technical documentation. Had I been caught it would have been serious likely involving criminal charges, potential jail time and certainly civil damages. Did the exchange in deep throat fashion meeting in an airport parking lot.
Kind of theft but not really. Over the years have obtained thousands of dollars in promo items like golf balls, clubs, clothing, carhartt jacket, high end montblanc pens, etc. sometimes branded with corporate logo feces sometimes left pure and given to friends or kept for my own use. I figure the stuff that was branded was still advertising.
A job I absolutely hated and despised my cunt of a boss more I had a good scam going. I’d order mid value (e.d. $200-$300/item) products (e.g. graphing calculators, etc) from our corporate office supplier then return them without a receipt but for store credit at a different retail store. Would the use the store credit to buy things I actually wanted.
Have taken a few questionable trips with airfare, hotel, meals and car rental expensed back to the company. Occasionally was questioned by internal audit but figured out a long time ago to have a trap line of customers who play ball if you put their name on a receipt and to get back to the auditors in quick time with the info they’re looking for. They just want to check the box that they’ve done their job. If you keep them waiting you look guilty.

Not really to do with me but about 25 years ago the slaughterhouse my dad worked in caught on fire, long story short they just grabbed whatever meat they could and took it all home while the place burned. My dad left a 100 year old Sheffield pipe steel I let him borrow in his locker though and all that shit melted. Words were exchanged along with a whole brisket he grabbed.
